The first level grips you with revitalizing notes of green mandarin, tangy ginger lily, and sweet water jasmine. It then dries down to a core of salty vanilla that accents the base notes of creamy sandalwood, animalic ambergris, and multi-scented cashmere wood. You are left with a salty, woody-marine aroma that’s ever so pleasing. The master perfumers behind this creation are Loc Dong, Anne Flipo, and Dominque Ropion. It was debuted in 2015 in a bottle reminiscent of a laurel wreath. Paco Rabbane was a Spain emigrant/refugee who started the eponymous brand in 1966. He was originally an architect, but then got into clothing and jewelry design. The fragrance line began in 1969 with a women’s perfume. The fashion design house has produced several collections over the years, with a recent parfum out in 2017.
