Its volume to length ratio has an extremely positive effect on performance, making it very user-friendly. When paired with a handheld wing like the Cabrinha Crosswing, the X:Fly's solid width and voluminous bottom makes it extremely stable to stand on and get into flight. A slight rear rocker and kick tail support the pumping required to fly in less wind. The single bottom channel keeps the hydrofoil parallel to the deck of the board and thus ensures a perfectly balanced and harmonious flight phase.
